In the wake of Hurricane Isaias, many families in our Umbrella Learning Academy (ULA) community are facing unimaginable hardship. But together, we can help them in this time of need. Due to the impact of Hurricane Isaias, our October Scholastic Book Fair is being postponed. While we know our eager readers might be disappointed, our priority right now is ensuring our families have the time and space needed to focus on storm recovery and rebuilding.
Mark your calendars—we are excited to share that the Book Fair has been rescheduled for November 9–13, 2026. Thank you for your patience and support as our community recovers together!

Our Enrollment Process: To be considered for admission, families must complete a campus tour, submit the registration fee, and schedule a Student Assessment/Shadow Day.

Umbrella Learning Academy students actively participate with Escambia County 4-H. Our students participate in 4-H activities every Friday during club and elective times!
Every student participates in activities with their age group on a regular basis with activities in STEM, Agriculture, Life Skills, and more! At the beginning of school, we elect officers to run our once a month club meetings. In September and October, we create booths for the Pensacola Interstate Fair. Last year, 23-24, we had four booths and each did very well. We earned $780 our club to help with fees for 4-H Day at the Capitol. During November, we use our 4-H time to prepare for our International Day. Each year, in the spring, our students have the opportunity to travel to Tallahassee for a "Day at the Capitol". Our students can explore the capitol buildings| museums and learn about our state government. Each family must register every year.
